About the Role:
As a Document Control Specialist at Sword Group, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the flow of critical information. Your expertise will ensure that essential documents are meticulously organized, consistently updated, and readily accessible.
Working alongside our customer's Document Control team, you will be instrumental in maintaining compliance with industry standards, protecting data integrity, and enhancing workflow efficiency. Your responsibilities extend beyond mere organization; you will empower teams by providing the necessary support and training to navigate systems effectively.
Your keen attention to detail and proactive approach will drive enhancements in document management processes, contributing to greater operational effectiveness. By cultivating a culture of accuracy, compliance, and efficiency, you will be vital in ensuring project success while facilitating seamless information flow across teams.
As a Document Control Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Serving as the primary point of contact for asset operations engineering works, overseeing all asset deliverables, including the assembly and closeout of technical documentation.
- Coordinating the process of asset document reviews.
- Managing third-party supplier asset documentation.
- Conducting compliance checks between SharePoint/OpenText and PIM360 systems.
- Assigning and managing project document and drawing numbering requests.
- Distributing asset documentation to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Overseeing the process of asset drawing mark-ups.
- Providing training and guidance to users on review workflows and document management processes.
- Managing the lifecycle of asset operational documents.
- Acting as System Administrator, ensuring system integrity and adherence to processes.
