Your Role at Veezu:

As a key member of our Journey Booking Centre, the Dispatcher will collaborate closely with our Driver Partners and external JBC Partners to ensure that bookings are dispatched promptly, guaranteeing that passengers arrive at their destinations on time. Your role is essential in maximizing Driver Partner completion rates through effective management of inbound booking dispatch and maintaining clear communication with Driver Partners.

You will report to the Team Manager or JBC Manager, focusing on optimizing Driver Partner and resource capacity. Your responsibilities will also include supporting our Off-Shore Booking Agents in keeping our Passengers informed and ensuring an exceptional experience for Driver Partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the local Driver Partner community – their needs, concerns, and behaviors – becoming a trusted contact for them.
  • Take ownership of your objectives and KPIs, striving to meet and exceed them consistently.
  • Utilize the Dispatch booking system to allocate and dispatch journeys, ensuring communication with Driver Partners is positive, professional, and precise.
  • Manage passenger demand to maintain timely bookings, effectively using tools such as the zone controller and wait time wallboard as necessary.
  • Assist with bookings for walk-in passengers at regional hubs when applicable.
  • Collaborate with off-shore partners regarding passenger inquiries and bookings.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to Driver Partner alerts and queries via telephone or Dispatch driver chat.
  • Support Driver Partners with complex inquiries, directing them to the Driver Partner portal or messaging service as needed.
  • Exceed expectations in handling passenger bookings, particularly related to high-value and commercial account journeys.
