The Opportunity

Join Guidepoint as the Director of Strategic Partnerships, where you will play a pivotal role in developing and expanding our partnerships function. This position focuses primarily on distribution and platform partnerships within the research ecosystem, and it operates in a hybrid capacity based in New York City.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, structuring, and executing partnerships that enhance access to Guidepoint’s content, research products, and intelligence solutions. Over time, your responsibilities will evolve to encompass product, AI, and strategic data licensing partnerships.

This highly collaborative position is situated at the crossroads of product innovation, commercial strategy, and corporate development. The ideal candidate will excel in shaping partnership strategies, negotiating intricate deals, and collaborating across product, sales, and leadership teams to actualize partnerships.

Your Responsibilities

Distribution & Platform Partnerships

  • Formulate and implement Guidepoint’s strategy for distribution and platform partnerships.
  • Identify and prioritize external research platforms, marketplaces, workflow tools, and strategic partners for the distribution or embedding of Guidepoint’s content or products.
  • Develop partnerships that enhance the reach, usage, and monetization of Guidepoint’s Library and associated intelligence products.
  • Assess partnership opportunities across institutional investor, research, and enterprise workflows.

Commercial & Strategic Deal Execution

  • Lead the comprehensive development of partnerships, including sourcing, evaluation, business case development, negotiation, and execution.
  • Structure commercial agreements and partnership frameworks including distribution, co-branded offerings, embedded access, licensing, and other monetization strategies.
  • Create commercial frameworks that align partner incentives with Guidepoint’s strategic and revenue objectives.
  • Act as the internal coordination point for strategic partnership opportunities.

Cross-Functional Partnership Enablement

  • Collaborate closely with product, sales, legal, and senior leadership to transition partnerships from concept to execution.
  • Assist in defining the packaging, positioning, and operational requirements necessary to support external partnerships.
  • Ensure partnerships are designed to be practical, scalable, and consistent with Guidepoint’s broader product roadmap.

Future Expansion: Product, AI & Data Partnerships

  • Over time, contribute to shaping Guidepoint’s approach to product, AI, and data partnerships.
