As the Director of Sales for Southeast Asia, you will spearhead the sales operations at Euromonitor International's hub in Singapore, driving sustainable revenue growth throughout Singapore and the broader ASEAN region. This pivotal role entails the ownership of the commercial strategy, sales performance, and leadership of your team, all while reinforcing Euromonitor’s reputation as a trusted strategic partner for our clients.
You will lead a dynamic team of approximately 15 sales professionals, cultivating a high-performance, client-focused sales culture that aligns with both global objectives and local market demands.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Revenue Leadership
- Achieve and surpass revenue targets, aiming for a 6% baseline and 10% stretch across new business, renewals, upselling, and consulting solutions within Singapore and ASEAN.
- Formulate and implement a regional sales strategy that fosters consistent pipeline generation and growth in Annual Recurring Revenue across Euromonitor’s diverse portfolio.
- Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities in high-potential ASEAN markets, industries, and client segments.
- Lead high-stakes negotiations with senior client stakeholders, including enterprise and strategic accounts.
Sales Leadership & Team Development
- Guide and develop Sales Managers and representatives to ensure sustained high performance through structured coaching, feedback, and skill development.
- Build a robust leadership pipeline by enabling Sales Managers to effectively coach, develop, and manage their teams’ performance.
- Collaborate with the HR Business Partner and regional leadership to cultivate the next generation of sales leaders.
- Instill a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and strong collaboration across Enterprise and Partnership teams.
- Establish clear performance expectations, KPIs, and career development pathways linked to business priorities.
- Drive the adoption of best-practice sales methodologies, processes, and tools across the sales team.
Strategic Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with Marketing, Consulting, Research, and Product teams to deliver integrated, client-centric solutions.
- Serve as a senior commercial stakeholder for Singapore and ASEAN, collaborating with regional and global leaders to align go-to-market strategies.
- Provide regular market, client, and competitive insights to guide product development, pricing, and commercial strategy.
- Represent Euromonitor International at key client meetings, industry events, and conferences throughout the region.
Client Engagement & Thought Leadership
- Establish and maintain trusted relationships with C-suite executives and senior decision-makers across various sectors.
