Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Market Direction
- Guide strategic direction for the Rail & Transit market to align with AECOM’s objectives at both UK and global levels.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, policy changes, and investment opportunities to identify paths for growth.
- Position AECOM as the leading provider of rail and transit advisory, design, and delivery services.
Client & Relationship Management
- Act as the regional leader for Rail & Transit, collaborating with global peers to ensure consistent market strategies and client satisfaction.
- Coordinate team formations for bids and project mobilization.
- Work with teams to assess Rail & Transit opportunities over various timeframes to inform strategic planning.
- Develop and sustain senior relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Act as an executive sponsor for critical client accounts and partnerships.
- Enhance strategic engagement with clients, establishing AECOM as a trusted partner.
- Ensure comprehensive account management plans are in place for top-tier clients.
- Maintain the integrity of sector data within Salesforce to ensure actionable opportunity pipelines.
Business Development & Work Acquisition
- Engage proactively in work acquisition, fostering relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders to build a robust pipeline.
- Develop the market in collaboration with regional and global transport leaders to drive growth.
