The Opportunity
We are seeking a Director of Product who embodies the qualities of a true Product General Manager—someone who possesses sharp product intuition, robust commercial instincts, and a profound understanding of early childhood education. In this role, you will oversee the entire ESGI product line, taking charge of strategy, roadmap, pricing, and execution. You will work in close collaboration with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Research teams to drive impactful outcomes for teachers, students, and Riverside's overall growth.
This position offers high visibility and significant impact, playing a crucial role in shaping Riverside's future direction.
What You’ll Do
- Lead ESGI’s multi-year growth strategy and product roadmap
- Enhance adoption and retention across classrooms, schools, and districts
- Establish pricing, packaging, and positioning strategies that maximize demand
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure timely delivery and high technical quality
- Support go-to-market (GTM) excellence, including product launches, messaging, and adoption strategies
- Integrate educator insights into product development decisions
- Test, measure, and scale successful initiatives
- Develop partnerships and integrations that drive growth
- Act as a credible voice with teachers and school leaders
Success Looks Like
In three years, you will have:
- Increased ESGI revenue by over 50% through deeper market penetration and expanded adoption
- Strengthened product-market fit and garnered educator support within K–2 classrooms
- Executed roadmap initiatives that boost frequency of use, classroom virality, and retention
- Established a repeatable go-to-market (GTM) strategy that enhances both school and district expansion
- Created advocates across early learning ecosystems
