Director of Growth Strategies

The Role

We are seeking a dynamic Director of Growth Strategies to spearhead our growth initiatives. This is a hands-on position ideal for an individual who has successfully developed growth loops in the past and is eager to replicate that success with a product that is gaining traction in the market.

You will be responsible for enhancing customer activation, improving retention, driving referrals, and expanding our channels. Collaborating closely with the CEO, product team, and operations, your goal will be to identify the quickest routes to increased revenue. The focus is not on having all the answers but on rapidly testing assumptions, learning from the outcomes, and scaling successful strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute growth experiments, from hypothesis formulation to scaling successful outcomes.

  • Oversee the activation and onboarding processes for new customers.

  • Enhance retention and foster expansion within existing customer accounts.

  • Develop and manage referral programs and organic growth strategies.

  • Conduct channel testing across SEO, partnerships, and community engagement.

  • Implement growth analytics, dashboards, and attribution models.

  • Utilize tools and automation to streamline the customer journey.

Success Metrics

  • Establish a repeatable experiment framework that the entire team can utilize.

  • Achieve significant improvements in customer activation and 30-day retention rates.

  • Provide clear data analysis on effective channels and their performance.

  • Create referral and expansion initiatives that generate substantial revenue.

  • Ensure leadership is consistently informed about successful strategies and next steps.

About You

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in growth, product development, or sales.

  • Proven track record of managing experiments from start to finish and delivering results.

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data tools such as SQL, Mixpanel, or similar.

  • Experience in early-stage startups is preferred.

  • A builder's mentality—proactive in starting initiatives without waiting for ideal conditions.

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of quickly translating insights into actionable strategies.
