About the job
About Redesign Health:
Redesign Health is a pioneering global venture and applied technology firm dedicated to developing the next generation of healthcare companies. We specialize in managing both venture capital and venture buyout strategies, each supported by a cutting-edge AI operating system and a team of top-tier technologists, entrepreneurs, and investors.
Our venture capital approach empowers exceptional founders at the earliest stages, often before their ideas are fully formed, by providing initial institutional capital and unparalleled strategic leverage and domain expertise through to exit. In parallel, our venture buyout strategy collaborates with proven management teams through control investments, delivering significant value by transforming core products and workflows using AI.
Since our establishment in 2018, Redesign and our portfolio companies have positively impacted over 15 million patients, successfully raised more than $1.5 billion from distinguished institutional, sovereign, and strategic investors, and forged unique partnerships with leading healthcare organizations and senior leaders globally.
Headquartered in New York, we also have offices in Bengaluru, Los Angeles, and Riyadh.
About the Role:
This position encompasses a dynamic two-phase role.
Phase 1: Fundraising and Market Activation (Pre-Fund Close)
You will spearhead efforts to establish a venture capital fund in India and lay the groundwork for future company creation. Responsibilities include:
- Formulating and implementing strategies for launching Redesign Health in India.
- Building and enhancing relationships with Limited Partners (LPs), including family offices, strategic investors, and institutional capital.
- Leading fundraising initiatives — sourcing, pitching, and securing LP commitments.
- Creating a network of essential stakeholders: government officials, regulators, healthcare systems (both public and private), investors, and advisors.
- Establishing Redesign Health’s market reputation and positioning us for swift execution following fund closure.
By simultaneously fostering relationships with capital providers and local healthcare stakeholders, you will help validate market opportunities, bolster investor confidence, and ensure readiness for post-fund close execution.
Phase 2: Venture Building and Market Launch (Post-Fund Close)
Once the fund is closed, your responsibilities will evolve towards building and scaling healthcare ventures.
