Role Context

As the Business Development Director, you will take the lead in identifying, negotiating, and securing new customer relationships across the region. We seek a driven individual with a strong sense of ownership and passion for achieving targets. This hands-on role requires you to lead from the front and engage deeply in execution.

Thunes is rapidly expanding throughout APAC, and we are in search of exceptional hunters to unlock new markets and close transformative deals. If you thrive on building relationships, delivering significant revenue, and are excited to sell a product that facilitates real-time global money movement, this is your chance!

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting and pitching to negotiating, closing, and activating clients.
  • Develop and convert a robust pipeline of fintechs, banks, payment service providers, and digital platforms.
  • Enter new markets, securing strategic partnerships and generating rapid revenue growth.
  • Engage in high-level discussions with founders, C-suite executives, and product teams.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful go-live implementations and account expansions.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in B2B payment sales, demonstrating a strong hunter mentality throughout the APAC region.
