Your Role:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining always-on, high-performance gaming platforms. Your expertise will ensure seamless gameplay, immediate scalability during peak demand, and flawless feature rollouts — no matter the intensity of the action.
You will operate within a fully automated, cloud-native environment, leveraging GitOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and advanced observability tools to maintain our systems' stability, security, and speed. Every improvement you implement will directly enhance the gaming experience.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Operate and Optimize Automated Gaming Platforms:
Manage a GitOps-driven deployment pipeline utilizing tools such as ArgoCD, ensuring rapid and secure deployment to production environments.
Support self-healing, highly available cloud systems designed to accommodate substantial traffic surges during events and game launches.
Enhance Performance and Delivery Speed:
Refine CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.) to reduce release times, bolster rollback safety, and facilitate advanced rollout strategies (canary, blue/green).
Enhance resilience and performance across real-time gaming workloads.
Cloud & Kubernetes at Scale:
Operate secure, scalable gaming infrastructure on AWS.
Oversee Kubernetes workloads that support multiplayer and transactional systems.
Champion Infrastructure as Code:
Develop and optimize infrastructure using Terraform, Helm, AWS CloudFormation, and Ansible, treating all components as versioned, tested, and reviewed code.
Implement policy-as-code to guarantee secure and consistent deployments across various regions and regulatory markets.
