Role Summary
We are on the lookout for a highly skilled and adaptable DevOps Engineer to become an integral part of our team. This pivotal role involves maintaining, upgrading, and ensuring the high availability of our essential DevOps toolchain. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on generalist experienced in managing various CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools within an AWS-based environment. You will oversee platform health, performance optimization, and provide outstanding support to our development and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- DevOps Toolchain Management: Oversee, upgrade, and maintain the health of core DevOps tools, including Jenkins, Artifactory, HashiCorp Vault, HashiCorp Terraform Enterprise, and GitHub Enterprise. This encompasses routine configurations, version upgrades, and ensuring seamless integrations.
- AWS Infrastructure Management: Deploy, manage, and upgrade the AWS infrastructure that supports our DevOps platforms. Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies (e.g., Terraform) to automate infrastructure provisioning and maintenance.
- Platform Availability & Performance: Monitor the DevOps toolchain proactively for performance, availability, and reliability issues. Respond to incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective measures to ensure platform stability and uptime.
- User Support & Troubleshooting: Act as a primary support resource, assisting users and resolving issues efficiently.
