Ensure safety while executing new construction, maintenance, or repair work on energized and de-energized distribution systems.Lead crew members during the Foreman's absence effectively.Demonstrate expertise in the installation, repair, operation, and maintenance of overhead electric distribution systems energized at both primary and secondary voltages.Prepare necessary hardware and materials for jobs.Operate various types of motorized equipment essential for the construction, operation, and maintenance of the electric distribution system.Perform work on poles up to 100 feet high and steel structures on lines up to 230 kilovolts (kV).Utilize Live Line Tools up to 69 kV and employ rubber gloving methodology for voltages up to 12 kV.Install electric meters rated for less than 200 amperes.Install and maintain electric service lines and metering equipment across primary and secondary voltages.Install wood, steel, concrete, and fiberglass poles.Install fuses, service drops, and electric meters.Operate line switches competently.During new installations, climb poles, attach building service wires to overhead electric distribution lines, and install electric meters. Connect service wire leads, insert fuses, and verify meter functionality.Install cross arms, insulators, conductors, switches, transformers, and additional equipment for both overhead and underground systems.Pull load break elbows from pad-mounted or rack-mounted equipment using hot sticks.Be available for extended overtime shifts when necessary.Exhibit proficiency in pole/tower climbing.Be capable of working at heights and in confined spaces.Must be able to climb various structures (wood, steel, etc.) and possess the required tools for climbing.Physical Requirements:Must have the physical ability to climb, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, exhibit finger dexterity, grasp, and perform repetitive motions. Must be able to regularly lift objects weighing under 10 pounds, occasionally lift objects weighing between 10-25 pounds, infrequently lift objects weighing between 25-30 pounds, and infrequently lift objects exceeding 50 pounds.Environmental Conditions:Work will take place outdoors, exposing you to extreme cold, heat, inclement weather, noise, mechanical hazards, electrical hazards, darkness, and occasional poor lighting conditions.

Key ResponsibilitiesFacilitate the preparation of semi-monthly payroll by incorporating all changes from the pay period, including terminations, new hires, transfers, overtime, and bonuses.
