ABOUT THE POSITION
This role will focus on design or technical aspects and will be an essential member of our multidisciplinary team. You will collaborate closely with design and technical leadership and play a vital role in project teams. Your initial assignment will involve a significant 2.0+ million square foot healthcare facility at the Mayo Clinic campus in Rochester, MN. Under the guidance of a Licensed Architect and project leadership, your primary responsibilities will include:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate independently and under supervision to provide conceptual and architectural design as part of a multidisciplinary team, including design, material selection, and architectural development.
- Prepare and contribute to design presentations, including 3D visualizations and other illustrative graphics.
- Assist in the production of the BIM model and related deliverables under direction.
- Engage in project coordination with other disciplines.
- Potentially take on a leadership role within the team regarding specific project issues or topics.
- Review shop drawing submissions with guidance from the Project Architect.
- May participate in site visits.
- Attend and actively contribute to project team meetings.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Professional business attire is required for client meetings, including suits, ties, collared dress shirts, dresses, and skirts.
- Travel may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field is required. A degree from an accredited program is preferred.
- At least 4 years of relevant professional experience is required.
- A strong creative design portfolio is essential.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, presentation, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Experience with real-time rendering and 3D rendering software such as Enscape, Twinmotion, and/or V-Ray, demonstrated through a portfolio.
- Familiarity with computational design tools such as Grasshopper and Dynamo is preferred.
- Active pursuit of Architectural Registration in the United States is preferred.
- LEED accreditation is advantageous.
