Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:Experience as a primary data partner for marketing and growth teams, driving marketing strategy, campaign planning, and performance assessment. The ability to proactively uncover opportunities, risks, and trends in customer acquisition data, providing insights without the need for explicit requests. A knack for framing ambiguous marketing and business challenges and translating them into testable hypotheses, success metrics, and analytical plans. Expertise in defining and evolving marketing and growth metrics, including funnel metrics, attribution models, customer acquisition costs, lifetime value, and channel efficiency, ensuring cohesive alignment across teams. Experience in designing and analyzing experiments (e.g., A/B tests, creative tests, channel tests) to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and tactics. Proficiency in designing analytics data models and lightweight pipelines to support reporting and analytics as required. Strong skills in SQL and Python for conducting analyses, developing models, and delivering reproducible, actionable insights. Ability to apply statistical and machine learning techniques judiciously, balancing rigor with speed and practicality. Effective communication skills to present findings clearly and influence marketing prioritization and budget decisions with data-driven recommendations, reports, and dashboards.
