We are currently in search of an Algorithms Scientist to spearhead the development of next-generation algorithms focused on ad relevance, targeting, optimization, and measurement that underpin the Lyft Ads platform. In this pivotal role, you will navigate large-scale datasets and intricate real-time systems to design, prototype, and deploy robust machine learning models. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, Data Science, and Sales, will be instrumental in translating complex business and advertiser needs into effective algorithmic solutions that enhance ad performance, optimize marketplace efficiency, and drive significant revenue growth.
This is a high-impact, technically demanding position within a rapidly scaling business unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong intuition for applied machine learning, extensive hands-on modeling experience, and the capability to write clean, efficient production code. You will play a crucial role in transforming how advertisers connect with Lyft riders, pushing the envelope on personalization, measurement, and real-time optimization in a fast-paced marketplace.
