Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Convert data privacy regulations into actionable technical controls and system requirements. Oversee data discovery, classification, and mapping initiatives. Manage consent frameworks, data subject rights (DSR), and data retention protocols. Utilize privacy-enhancing technologies including encryption, anonymization, and data masking. Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and assist in internal and external audits. Work closely with engineering and security teams to embed privacy controls into systems. Ensure adherence to global data protection regulations and internal policies. Continuously monitor and enhance privacy practices across platforms and data workflows. What Makes You a Great Fit:3+ years of experience in data privacy, security, or compliance technology. Deep understanding and practical experience with regulations such as GDPR, DPDPA, and CCPA. Familiarity with privacy frameworks and implementation of privacy controls. Experience with privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Basic programming knowledge in Python or Java (preferred). Solid understanding of data security principles, including encryption and protection techniques. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating across cross-functional teams. Certifications such as CIPP, CIPT, or CIPM are preferred. Exposure to privacy tools like OneTrust or BigID is a plus.
