Role overview

This position centers on maintaining smooth trading operations and supporting the infrastructure that powers research and production. The Data Operations Engineer will play a key role in monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving workflows that keep trading and research systems running efficiently.

What you will do

  • Monitor and troubleshoot operations: Work with teams to build and maintain monitoring and alert systems for real-time tracking of trading processes. Respond quickly to identify and resolve issues, aiming to minimize downtime.
  • Develop and manage deployment pipelines: Create and refine continuous integration and deployment workflows for data, alpha, and strategy generation. Help ensure research outputs move smoothly into production applications.
  • Maintain quality standards: Apply quality control practices to keep scripts and applications consistent and reliable. Conduct regular audits to catch and address quality issues.
  • Drive process improvements: Use data analysis to find opportunities for operational enhancement. Lead projects that increase efficiency and output across production processes.
  • Document and report: Maintain thorough records of production metrics and quality control checks. Share insights and regular performance reports with management, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
