Required QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of experience in data migration, data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar technical role. Strong proficiency in working with spreadsheets, CSV files, text encoding, date formats, and data cleansing techniques. Experience interacting with SaaS platforms, CRM, ERP, or customer-facing data workflows. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience in customer-facing or onboarding roles is advantageous. Knowledge of SQL and familiarity with at least one scripting language (e.g., Python) is preferred. Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) would be a plus. Experience in developing or utilizing internal tools for data migration. Exposure to project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Trello, Asana) is beneficial.

Are you a detail-oriented Data Migration Specialist eager to make an impact? At hireframe, we are seeking a dedicated professional to orchestrate the seamless transfer of customer data from legacy systems to our innovative platform. This role is pivotal as you will collaborate with onboarding, support, product, and engineering teams to ensure that customer data is transformed into structured, clean datasets that drive success.

Join our vibrant team of 40, reporting directly to the VP of Customer Success, and help empower small business owners to thrive by utilizing our exceptional product, which is already trusted by thousands of businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Mapping

  • Evaluate customer data (CSVs, spreadsheets, software databases) for structure, quality, and completeness.
  • Utilize internal tools, AI solutions (like ChatGPT), or custom scripts to map legacy data fields to our platform's schema.

Migration Execution

  • Transform, clean, and normalize customer data for optimal usability.
  • Import the data into Gymdesk customer environments, validating outputs against expectations.
  • Conduct iterative migrations, troubleshooting any errors encountered along the way.

Product Expertise and Manual Data Entry

  • Perform manual data entry to bridge any gaps during migration as necessary.
  • Become proficient in Gymdesk’s product to effectively set up configurations for customers.

Customer Communication

  • Engage with onboarding specialists and customers to gather requirements and data formats.
  • Provide regular updates, clarify data-related issues, and assist customers in understanding discrepancies at the field level.

Collaboration and Process Improvement

  • Partner with product and engineering teams to report bugs and suggest enhancements to tools.
  • Document migration procedures and maintain internal resources for consistency and success.
