Your Role
As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the complete lifecycle of our large-scale data ingestion and transformation engine. You will engage in the entire engineering process: designing, developing, scaling, and maintaining our data pipelines that manage vast data streams—up to 100 TB daily. This role combines innovative greenfield data engineering with in-depth exploration of hospitality data domains, while also enhancing, maintaining, and ensuring the stability and quality of existing pipelines.
Your Impact
- End-to-End Pipeline Engineering: Design, build, and deploy scalable data pipelines that seamlessly ingest data from various sources (APIs, Webhooks, SFTP, Cloud Storage).
- Data Unification: Develop and implement complex domain modeling and transformation logic to ensure disparate data sources are integrated into high-fidelity data products.
- Architectural Advancements: Transition legacy processes into modern, scalable, and stable data architectures.
- Operational Excellence: Enhance the reliability and quality of our data pipelines by building advanced observability, automated testing, and self-healing features to proactively address root causes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineering teams, support staff, customers, and partners.
- Technical Investigation: Participate in diagnosing and resolving intricate technical issues, conducting thorough analyses to identify root causes within your area of responsibility.
- AI-Driven Efficiency: Leverage AI to accelerate development and streamline complex debugging, root-cause analysis, and routine tasks.
