Your Role in Our Team
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to take charge of our complete data ecosystem—from database architecture and data pipelines to integrations and insightful reporting. You will design, implement, and maintain systems that ensure our data remains reliable, accessible, and actionable, with a strong emphasis on product and go-to-market analytics.
Your Responsibilities:
Architect and manage robust database structures and data models.
Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and orchestration workflows.
Design and manage data integrations across both internal and external systems.
Lead business reporting efforts including datasets, dashboards, metrics, and self-serve analytics.
Ensure data quality, observability, compliance, and comprehensive documentation.
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or a full-stack data role.
Proficient in SQL and experienced in Python (or R).
Hands-on experience with data modeling, warehouse architecture, and business intelligence schema design.
Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow, Dagster).
Experience in building or maintaining BI reporting tools (Metabase is a plus).
Strong grounding in statistics and experimental design.
Must be based in San Francisco or New York City.
