You should be at ease operating within a production environment where system stability, performance, and meticulous change management are vital.Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and manage a resilient enterprise network infrastructure across both data center and cloud environments.Collaborate with global infrastructure teams on network architecture and capacity planning.Configure and oversee routing and switching protocols across core, edge, and data center networks (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, multicast).Design and support networking solutions for AWS, including VPC architecture, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN, routing, and security controls.Maintain global WAN connectivity, including managing relationships with carriers, exchanges, and third-party connectivity providers.Monitor network performance and availability; troubleshoot complex production issues and conduct structured root cause analysis.Implement and uphold network security measures, including segmentation, firewalls, and access policies.Ensure accurate documentation, network diagrams, and operational standards are maintained.Participate in an on-call rotation and provide escalation support for critical production incidents.Required Experience:8+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering in complex, high-availability production environments.Extensive expertise in routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, multicast).Demonstrated experience in designing enterprise network architecture and performing capacity planning.Proficient in designing and operating AWS networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN).Strong troubleshooting skills across layers 1–4.Familiarity with packet capture and analysis tools such as tcpdump and Wireshark.Solid understanding of network security principles and practices.
