Qualifications

Strong proficiency in cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP). A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Data Quality Analyst in a data-centric organization. Demonstrated expertise in data quality management and governance practices. Advanced skills in database management, including SQL and PL/SQL. Proficiency in Python; familiarity with Scala is an advantage. Experience with Linux and bash scripting. A solid understanding of the Cloudera Hadoop technology stack, including Apache Spark and Apache Kafka. Knowledgeable in data handling principles, ETL processes, and real-time data processing. Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools. A strong grasp of data governance principles, including metadata management and frameworks for data quality. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Designing and maintaining efficient processes to aggregate data from diverse sources into our Data Lake.
  • Creating, developing, and refining complex data pipelines to guarantee a reliable flow of information.
  • Establishing frameworks that support the development of data pipelines.
  • Implementing thorough testing frameworks for data pipelines to ensure data integrity and quality.
  • Collaborating with analysts and data scientists to deliver superior quality data solutions.
  • Overseeing data management practices, ensuring security, compliance, and best practices in governance.
  • Exploring and adopting new technologies to enhance data pipeline performance.
  • Integrating and leveraging data from various source systems, including Kafka, MQ, SFTP, databases, APIs, and file shares.
