Your Role
We are looking for a proactive and skilled Data Center Operator with hands-on facilities experience to oversee our pilot data center operations. This role involves performing mechanical work, ensuring equipment maintenance, and coordinating with subcontractors as necessary.
Work Environment
We foster an in-office culture that prioritizes speed and collaboration—building physical infrastructure demands it. This position is primarily based in our San Francisco, Long Beach, or Houston offices, with full-time onsite presence expected, except for bi-weekly remote Fridays.
Exceptions may be made for exceptional talent residing outside our primary locations. If you are the right fit, we will discuss tailored arrangements.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the data center, ensuring optimal system performance.
- Monitor and maintain air-cooled chillers, CDU systems, and fan coils.
- Conduct hands-on mechanical tasks, including maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of facility systems.
- Perform routine inspections to identify and proactively resolve potential issues.
- Engage and coordinate with subcontractors for specialized tasks or repairs.
