Qualifications

Requirements:University degree in Computer Science with a focus on Robotics, Data, and AI engineering; a PhD is preferred;Proficiency in robotics and AI open-source libraries such as ROS, OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras;Minimum of 4 years of experience working directly with technical teams with a proven track record;At least 2 years of experience in National or European research programs in ICT;Strong background in software design, development, and ICT project management;Familiarity with production engineering, robotic applications, IoT, and AI for manufacturing;Fluent in English and Greek, both written and spoken;Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills to thrive in a diverse team setting;Demonstrated analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

About the job

We are actively seeking a talented Data and AI Engineer specializing in Intelligent Manufacturing to join our dynamic R&D team. This position is open to candidates fluent in English, and you can work remotely from Athens, Greece, or Luxembourg. As a member of our esteemed team, you will collaborate with diverse experts focused on achieving shared objectives. We value individuals who exemplify responsiveness, integrity, and reliability, complemented by exceptional analytical and organizational skills. Your role will support projects funded by the European Commission and national research initiatives, where you'll be expected to demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and accountability. If you have significant experience in intelligent manufacturing production lines, robotics, IoT applications, or related technologies with a software focus, we encourage you to apply. Experience with European-funded R&D projects will be an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and execute projects funded by the European Commission;
  • Develop comprehensive document deliverables and reports for R&D projects and business development (requirements, conceptual models, specifications, integration plans, etc.);
  • Design, develop, and document innovative manufacturing technologies and solutions, including AI for manufacturing and eco-friendly production lines;
  • Implement new manufacturing processes and technologies for next-generation intelligent production lines.
