Location: London (Hybrid: 4 days in office, 1 day remote)

About the Role

Ebury is rapidly expanding into new sectors such as embedded payments, cards, and stablecoins. As our product offerings evolve, so does the intricacy of our Anti-Money Laundering (AML) controls. We are seeking a Data Analytics Manager to join our Data team, collaborating with our Financial Crime Intelligence Product and Engineering teams to make data-driven decisions that foster growth while addressing financial crime.

You will operate at the nexus of First Line, Compliance, Product, and Engineering. This hands-on leadership position will see you spearheading our data analytics initiatives within the Financial Crime Intelligence domain, while also engaging with our data platform at a granular level.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for a Senior Data Analyst or Engineer who desires closer alignment with business challenges and product outcomes. Join a team of over 70 data developers, where you will collaborate on cross-domain projects and elevate data analytics across Ebury.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a data analytics team to deliver sophisticated analytics solutions for Financial Crime, including Transaction Monitoring, Screening, Know Your Customer, and Fraud.
  • Oversee data projects from inception to completion, ensuring they align with objectives and requirements.
  • Define the data strategy for your area, ensuring it is consistent with the overall Data strategy and Product goals.
  • Actively contribute to defining and implementing key metrics and outcomes for your product team.
  • Manage the development and implementation of ML/AI models.
  • Work closely with Data Managers from other domains to share insights and synchronize on data projects.
  • Drive the discovery phase by extracting critical insights, scoping new opportunities, and proposing initiatives to combat financial crime at Ebury.
