Job Overview:
Join our new Data Analytics and Operations team within the Research department as we enhance ownership of analytics outputs and ensure our core data assets are primed for use. This role is pivotal in guaranteeing the reliability and usability of our data, transforming it into impactful insights for our business and clients.
In this role, you will tackle complex problem spaces, set standards where they are lacking, and take ownership of converting intricate data into actionable outputs. Your ability to navigate uncertainties, trace issues across systems, and adapt strategies as you gain insights will be essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with expansive and intricate datasets to analyze data behavior, quality, and downstream effects
Understand and adhere to analytics outputs, including acceptance criteria and documentation for consumption
Communicate findings, risks, and recommendations effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Assist in maintaining workflows that facilitate analytics delivery, leveraging automation and AI tools where applicable
Collaborate closely with engineering, research, and product teams to identify issues and communicate resolutions
Spot gaps in data reliability or usability and take proactive steps to address them
Contribute to building an analytics discipline that prioritizes ownership, clarity, and impact over unnecessary process
Automate processes at scale – Transition manual, repetitive data tasks into efficient, reliable workflows
Ensure the accuracy, clarity, and reliability of all outputs
Conduct well-defined analyses and investigations under guidance
Qualifications:
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the aptitude to manage ambiguity
2+ years of relevant experience with SQL or Python, comfortable working with raw and intermediate datasets
Strong communication skills, capable of translating complex information to diverse audiences
