Preferred Education & Experience:A 2-year technical degree (e.g., Engineering Technology, Construction Management) or a related technical certification in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering Technology, Telecommunications Technology, or a similar discipline, along with 5 years of installation experience in IT, Cable, Electrical, RF, and/or Telecommunications (Cellular Technologies) fields. Alternatively, 7 years of installation experience in IT, Cable, Electrical, RF, and/or Telecommunications fields will be considered. Additionally:A strong understanding of the terminology and equipment utilized within the in-building Distributed Antenna System (DAS) industry. Proven ability to competently use basic hand and power tools essential for installation projects. All Field Positions Require Ability to:Travel to project locations (by car or plane) 100% of the time, Monday through Friday. Successfully pass a felony background check, driver's license check, drug screening, and pre-employment physical examination.

Job Summary: As the DAS Installation Site Supervisor, you will collaborate closely with the Project Manager and Installation Technicians to ensure successful wireless installations.

Responsibilities:

Your key duties will encompass:

  • Overseeing the complete DAS wireless installation process, from site survey to the final close-out package for the customer.
  • Managing a team of installation contractors, focusing on team building, fostering positive attitudes, and setting achievable goals.
  • Assisting in the installation of DAS wireless equipment, utilizing various components such as external and internal antennas, coaxial cable, CATV cable, fiber optic cable, CAT 5 cable, and others in compliance with NEC standards at customer job sites.
  • Terminating wall and ceiling-mounted components efficiently.
  • Conducting Sweep, PIM, and Fiber testing to ensure quality.
  • Supporting proposal development and project preparation initiatives.
  • Executing site surveys to diagnose and design solutions for RF and RF/fiber optic installations in areas with inadequate coverage, and reporting findings to relevant personnel.
  • Maintaining detailed job-related documentation and records.
  • Contributing to warehouse organization and inventory management.
  • Keeping both the customer and company updated on installation progress while ensuring compliance with safety standards, local codes, and company installation guidelines.
  • Assisting in project schedule creation and selection of materials/subcontractors.
  • Mentoring and leading less experienced technicians.
  • Staying informed about and utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary.
