Required Hard Skills:Technical degree preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience in a construction environment is desirable. A minimum of 3 years of installation experience in IT, Cable, Electrical, RF, and/or Telecommunications sectors. Familiarity with terminology in the in-building Distributed Antenna System (DAS) industry. Proven ability to use basic hand and power tools for installation tasks. Essential Soft Skills:Flexibility in working hours to accommodate customer needs. A strong team-oriented mindset with a commitment to fulfilling construction managers' objectives. Able to adapt in a fast-paced and evolving work environment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Capability to establish strong relationships with end customers, construction managers, and project managers.

The DAS Field Technician is pivotal in ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. The successful applicant should have practical experience with Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and a strong desire to advance in the telecommunications field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Lead Technician in the installation of coaxial and fiber-optic cabling, connectors, antennas, remotes, and couplers, adhering to customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Install active components per manufacturer guidelines and best practices.
  • Participate in safety training as necessary and consistently prioritize safety on the job site.
  • Proactively identify and communicate potential issues to management.
  • Provide regular updates on relevant project information as required.
  • Safeguard company materials and tools against theft or loss.
  • Arrive punctually at the designated work location.
  • Demonstrate initiative and support team members as needed based on the situation.
