The Opportunity
The Account Development Representative (ADR) plays a pivotal role in identifying business needs for Strategic & Enterprise Accounts, thereby generating a robust pipeline for our sales team. The ADR will work in synergy with marketing, sales enablement, and management to devise campaigns and engage prospects, facilitating a seamless transition to the sales team. A key aspect of the ADR's role is to conduct interactions with potential clients in a manner that fosters an exceptional customer experience, laying the groundwork for future product sales with Postman.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with the Account Development Manager and cross-functional teams to develop strategic targets for new and expansion business opportunities.
- Achieve or surpass strategic objectives and committed targets by engaging with qualified leads and facilitating the next steps in the sales process.
- Assess opportunities by understanding business challenges while simultaneously educating prospects on the value of our offerings.
- Conduct thorough research on targeted accounts to pinpoint key contacts and essential account details.
- Identify and pursue strategic new prospects that will drive growth within the territory.
- Select and engage with prospects identified through marketing initiatives.
- Become proficient in sales prospecting platforms and tools.
- Utilize identified customer challenges to recommend relevant campaigns and events to enhance engagement.
- Establish superior customer service relationships with prospects.
- Regularly audit activities to ensure accuracy and foster continuous improvement.
