Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the team leader, driving objectives and performance for the SOC team, including Level 1 and Level 2 analysts, while managing HR-related requests such as time off.
- Oversee the daily operations of the SOC to ensure timely detection and response to security events and incidents in compliance with established processes.
- Provide comprehensive insights on SOC challenges, risks, and opportunities to the leadership team, while managing and escalating any roadblocks that could affect security monitoring operations, infrastructure, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Design, implement, and refine processes to maintain compliance and operational efficiency.
- Enhance Client Satisfaction, Retention, and Growth through strategic initiatives.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of data and provide clear explanations.
- Deliver threat and vulnerability analysis and security advisory services.
- Develop attack detection and response playbooks, and devise counter-measures to mitigate emerging threats.
- Model attacks and threats to enhance detection and mitigation efforts.
