About the Role
At Hello Patient, we are revolutionizing patient engagement through Mia, our cutting-edge AI assistant designed to enhance interactions between healthcare providers and patients. We are seeking a dedicated Customer Integration Engineer who will play a pivotal role in seamlessly integrating Mia with our clients' existing systems. This position encompasses the entire integration lifecycle, from collaborating with customer IT teams during initial discovery to developing high-quality production-grade connectors and providing ongoing support.
In this highly impactful technical role, you will engage in daily coding activities and work closely with healthcare clients to address their unique integration challenges. You will also collaborate with our agent platform team to devise and implement innovative integration strategies as we scale. Given the nature of this role, your presence will be essential for our clients—strong communication skills are as critical as your coding expertise.

What You'll Do
Build & Ship Integrations
Create production-quality integrations linking Mia to EHR systems, practice management software, and data warehouses.
Develop robust data pipelines utilizing APIs, middleware, and various data exchange methods.
Design reusable integration modules to expedite future implementations.
Manage technical configurations for new clients and troubleshoot deployment conflicts.
Own the Customer Relationship
Facilitate technical discovery sessions with client engineering and IT teams.
Act as the primary technical contact for integration inquiries and incident resolution.
Convert clinical and business workflows into clear technical specifications.
Support, Document & Improve
Provide Tier 2/3 support for production environments.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, integration playbooks, and training materials.
Identify avenues for enhancing and automating integration processes over time.
What We're Looking For
Must Have
5+ years of experience in software development, data engineering, or integration engineering.
