SimpliSafe is looking for a Customer Analytics Manager focused on Activations & Adoption to join its Boston-based team. This hybrid role typically involves two days per week in the Boston office, with flexibility for remote work the rest of the week.

Role overview

This manager shapes strategy for device activation and customer adoption, reporting directly to the Head of Customer Analytics. The work spans analytics for device setup, hardware adoption, subscription activation, and ongoing customer engagement. Insights from this role inform C-suite and board-level decisions, with particular attention to areas like app usage, arming patterns, camera activity, and recurring monthly revenue (RMR) growth.

The position leads a team responsible for building and maintaining reporting tools, experimentation frameworks, and forecasts for key business metrics. Collaboration is frequent with partners in Customer Lifetime Value, Acquisition, and Operations.

What you will do

  • Lead analytics on device setup, hardware adoption, subscription activation, and customer engagement, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.
  • Develop and manage the Activations & Adoption Analytics roadmap in partnership with Customer Lifetime Value leaders to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Define success metrics for major initiatives, oversee measurement design (including A/B and multivariate experiments), select statistical methods, and interpret results for business partners.
  • Promote analytics and reporting best practices throughout the organization.

Location

This is a hybrid position based in Boston, MA. Team members typically work onsite two days per week (most often Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday), with remote flexibility for the remainder of the week.
