Role Overview

As the Culture and Engagement Partner, you will take the lead on Zoopla's culture and engagement strategy from day one. Your responsibilities will include developing frameworks, implementing proactive initiatives, and ensuring that your contributions have a lasting impact beyond the duration of this contract. This is a hands-on role within a compact People team, reporting directly to the Head of People. You'll have the autonomy to innovate and maintain high standards of delivery without a subordinate team or extensive procedural guidelines—just a clear mission, supportive colleagues, and a genuine chance to effect change. Your work will involve more than just conducting surveys or organizing events; it will require a deep understanding of employee sentiment at Zoopla and the creation of systems to drive meaningful change.

Your Responsibilities

Engagement

  • Manage the entire colleague engagement lifecycle, encompassing onboarding to offboarding: survey administration, data analysis, action planning, and assessing the effectiveness of current strategies.
  • Analyze manager engagement scores to identify trends and collaborate with the People Partner to address any issues.
  • Advance and solidify our recognition framework.
  • Create a model for distributed culture and engagement responsibility across the organization.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) and Community Engagement

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive DE&I plan from the ground up.
  • Oversee our charitable activities and CSR initiatives, including good deed days and fundraising events.
  • Manage programs focused on Women in Leadership and mentoring.

Culture and Events

  • Enhance the in-office experience by evaluating attendance patterns and creating meaningful touchpoints that encourage office visits.
  • Plan and execute mid-year social events and awards, establishing a framework for future gatherings.
  • Oversee the annual social calendar, including monthly activities.
