Core Responsibilities:Install electrical equipment including small rack-mounted UPS systems, various battery sizes, and monitoring equipment. Maintain battery cabinets and racks, maintenance bypass systems, battery monitoring equipment, DC systems, and other electrical devices. Conduct periodic and lifecycle-driven remedial services, including failure analysis, troubleshooting, component replacements, and battery installations. Build and nurture customer relationships by delivering exceptional service and identifying upselling opportunities. Address field troubleshooting inquiries from customers effectively.

Your Impact: 

Pearce Unified is on the lookout for a dedicated Critical Power Field Technician (UPS Field Engineer) to join our Richmond, Virginia team and surrounding areas. We seek candidates who are committed to excellence and eager to develop new skills. In this role, you will provide crucial on-site preventive, corrective, and restorative maintenance for our clients’ critical power systems, including UPS, DC systems, inverters, PDUs, STS, and standalone reserve battery technologies. As a Senior UPS Field Service Engineer, you will leverage your proactive mindset and innovative approach to deliver swift and effective solutions to meet our customers' needs.
