Pearce Services is seeking a Critical Power Field Technician (UPS Engineer) based in Atlanta, GA. This position supports clients in the region by maintaining and repairing critical power infrastructure, including uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, DC systems, and reserve battery technologies. What you will do
- Install electrical equipment such as rack-mounted UPS systems, batteries of various sizes, and monitoring devices.
- Maintain battery cabinets, racks, maintenance bypass systems, battery monitoring equipment, and DC systems.
- Perform regular performance assessments and remedial services, including failure analysis, troubleshooting, component replacement, and battery installations.
- Respond to troubleshooting calls and resolve client issues quickly and effectively.
- Foster strong customer relationships and promote additional products or services as appropriate.
- Act promptly in critical situations to minimize downtime.
- Mentor and guide junior team members on technical tasks and best practices.
