Relocation assistance is not available for this position.The Role:As a Creature FX Technical Director, you will play a pivotal role in crafting a wide array of dynamic simulations for character-driven projects, encompassing hair, clothing, skin, and muscle, along with post-simulation sculpting and final touches.Key Responsibilities:Develop simulation rigs for characters and creatures utilizing Maya nCloth, nHair, and both third-party and proprietary tools.Execute shots using simulation rigs and deliver completed assets to the Lighting department.Collaborate effectively with teams in Modelling, Rigging, Animation, Lighting, and Grooming departments.Contribute to the evolution of departmental tools and methodologies.Adhere to project timelines while upholding the highest quality standards.Present work for critique to leads, supervisors, and clients, and implement feedback as necessary.Maintain consistent communication with production and leads regarding project timelines.Stay updated with new tools, software, and technology relevant to the role.Work collaboratively within a team or independently to meet project objectives.
