Join our dynamic team as a Creative Strategist with a keen focus on direct-response marketing! You will be instrumental in crafting and executing high-impact advertising creatives for a fast-growing DTC eCommerce brand.
In this role, you will create scroll-stopping, conversion-centric ad creatives for various paid social media platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the intersection between data analytics, consumer psychology, and compelling storytelling to design ads that generate measurable revenue.
Collaborate closely with media buyers, video editors, and UGC creators to brainstorm creative concepts, craft scripts, assess performance metrics, and refine successful formats continuously.
Key Responsibilities
Cross-Industry Research
Conduct research on top-performing advertisements across diverse sectors (such as finance, health, home goods, etc.) and adapt winning hooks, formats, and storytelling methods into effective creatives.
Adjacent Industry Ideation
Continuously evaluate trends in cooking, kitchen technology, home goods, and related consumer product sectors to derive creative angles and messaging opportunities.
Competitive Intelligence
Monitor competitors and analyze their best-performing creatives to uncover trends, messaging strategies, and unique opportunities for differentiation.
Internal Creative Performance Analysis
Assess internal ad performance to determine why certain creatives succeed or fail, identifying repeatable creative frameworks and patterns.
Customer Insight Mining
Extract valuable insights from customer reviews, support tickets, ad comments, and social feedback to uncover objections, motivations, and language that enhance messaging effectiveness.
Scriptwriting & Creative Briefs
Develop persuasive scripts and comprehensive creative briefs for UGC creators and video editors.
UGC Creator Direction
Review submitted footage and provide constructive feedback regarding:
- Lighting and composition
- Product presentation
- Energy and delivery
- Script accuracy
Ensure only high-quality footage proceeds to production.
Video Editor Collaboration
Provide editors with complete context for scripts and concepts, and review final cuts with a strong emphasis on engaging hooks and conversion potential.
Media Buyer Collaboration
Partner closely with media buyers to analyze performance data and iterate on successful creatives while testing new strategies.
