REPORTS TO DIRECTOR OF CONTENT

Are you ready to unleash your creativity and craft engaging content? At Raindrop, we're on the lookout for a passionate Cinematographer who can bring our brand narratives to life through captivating videos. Our mission is to evoke laughter, stir emotions, and entertain our audiences deeply.

As a Cinematographer at Raindrop, your role will involve capturing vibrant, on-brand visual assets across various themes—including scripted comedy, product showcases, lifestyle shoots, and engaging social media sketches. Your work will span all major social media platforms, streaming services, and occasionally traditional television.

We seek someone with diverse cinematography experience who can adapt styles to reflect the unique personalities of our partner brands. If you enjoy immersing yourself in different creative worlds and are skilled at manipulating light to create unforgettable moments, this position is perfect for you!

This role primarily takes place on our indoor sound stages, so experience in crafting realistic environments in a studio setting is essential. While on-location filming experience is a plus, we value your ability to support the director’s vision by developing looks that align with the overall creative concept.

  • Assist production teams across a variety of projects
  • Operate camera on small to medium shoots without a 1st AC
  • Design lighting diagrams and camera plots
  • Support larger commercial shoots in various roles (1st AC, Sound, Grip)

  • Upload daily footage to the server for the editing team
  • Coordinate gear requirements among multiple production teams
  • Manage rental and return of additional equipment as necessary
  • Provide training to junior contractors on camera department and location sound duties

YOU ARE:

  • Adaptable and effective in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team player who values feedback and collaboration.
  • Highly organized and responsible with video equipment.
  • A multitasker who can prioritize effectively.
  • Proactive in anticipating gear needs during pre-production.
  • Knowledgeable about the latest trends and innovations in cinematography, especially in commercial filmmaking.
  • Ready to evolve with our team and enhance your skills.

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of professional cinematography experience.
  • Comfortable operating diverse camera systems.
