Role Overview
The Controls Technician will support installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and daily operation of building automation and control systems at a critical facility. This includes working with BMS, EPMS, PLC, and equipment-level controls in a 24/7 data center environment.
This role works closely with the Controls Engineer and Operations team to keep systems running smoothly and reliably.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain building automation and control systems for data center operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with BMS, EPMS, PLC, and equipment controls
- Operate and monitor control systems to ensure continuous uptime
- Work on tasks such as wiring control panels, investigating alarms through BMS interfaces, and calibrating sensors on chillers
- Collaborate with Controls Engineer and Operations team on system improvements and incident response
