DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

As a Designer at Nintendo Software Technology, you will be part of a close-knit game development studio dedicated to creating games that surprise and delight our players.

Your role will involve contributing to and implementing game design features, conducting playtests, and refining gameplay elements. Ideal candidates will have experience in designing user interfaces, levels, objects, and characters. If you are passionate about game design, we would love to review your resume.

  • Translate design specifications into playable prototypes using various software tools.
  • Quickly revise implementations based on changes needed to refine design concepts.
  • Assist in the design of prototypes to evolve concepts into more complete ideas.
  • Maintain and enhance gameplay mechanics within assigned projects.
  • Create user interface design elements and manage product localization under the guidance of senior designers.
  • Collaborate with various product development personnel to gather feedback and ensure support during the development process.
  • Contribute to defining the creative vision and technical specifications for assigned projects within a team.
  • Draft and maintain necessary design documentation.
  • Work closely with senior designers for constructive feedback and direction.
  • Utilize professional expertise to review, analyze, and test products effectively.
