Appian’s Customer Success team in McLean, Virginia, welcomes a Consultant focused on software implementation for public sector clients. This role centers on building custom solutions with the Appian platform, supporting organizations as they modernize operations and pursue digital transformation.
What you will do
- Partner with clients to define, design, develop, and implement software and AI solutions tailored to their needs using Appian.
- Participate in every stage of the project life cycle, including requirements gathering, development, and deployment.
- Work within an agile framework to understand business processes and technical requirements.
- Deploy new relational data models in live environments.
- Develop APIs for integration with external systems.
- Apply Appian’s AI tools to build solutions such as retrieval augmented generation (RAG), agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and generative models.
Collaboration and work location
This position is based at Appian’s headquarters in McLean, VA. In-person work is expected 4-5 days each week. The office environment encourages teamwork and direct client engagement, supporting both collaboration and professional growth.
