Qualifications:Valid driver's license. Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related field, or equivalent construction experience. Intermediate to proficient understanding of Sage 300, Procore, or comparable construction management software. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Bluebeam or Adobe.

Essel Environmental is collaborating with a prominent General Contractor located in the vibrant Sacramento area, seeking to expand their team with a seasoned Construction Project Manager. Our esteemed partner specializes in diverse sectors including healthcare, education, life sciences, commercial, retail, industrial, and public works construction projects across Southern Oregon and Northern California.

 

The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall project and team performance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Fostering and maintaining robust relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, and project teams.
  • Estimating and developing comprehensive project budgets.
  • Collaborating with the superintendent to prepare and uphold the project schedule.
  • Administering owner contracts with a thorough understanding.
  • Mitigating project risks and ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders.
  • Managing project finances, including but not limited to:
    • Project Buy Out and Subcontracts
    • Change Orders
    • Budget Adjustments
    • Owner SOV & Billings
    • Monthly Project Status Reports
  • Coordinating project activities and enhancing communication.
  • Supporting the project superintendent in their duties.
  • Ensuring adherence to job site safety protocols.
  • Leading all project meetings and managing project documentation, which includes:
    • Assisting in the review of all RFI’s and submittals.
    • Overseeing subcontractor insurance compliance.
  • Developing and training all project staff.
