Essel Environmental is on the lookout for an accomplished Construction Project Manager who will play a pivotal role in orchestrating the planning, execution, and successful delivery of construction projects focused on healthcare and medical facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in managing construction within the medical sector, showcasing exceptional communication and organizational capabilities. Proficiency in construction management software such as Primavera is essential.

DESCRIPTION:

This position entails leading project teams in both Program Management and Construction Management. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to contribute to the growth of a dynamic organization from the ground up. The successful Project Manager will possess a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare construction landscape, including hospitals, surgical centers, and medical offices.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee all aspects of the pre-construction, bidding, award, construction, and project close-out phases.
  • Serve as the Owner's Representative with direct responsibilities for client interactions.
  • Demonstrate strong expertise in contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Review pre-construction documents and provide feedback to designers as needed.
  • Prepare and organize reports for upper management regarding project status and progress.
  • Interface with relevant public agencies during pre-construction and construction to ensure compliance with off-site work.
  • Manage daily activities of contractors, subcontractors, engineers, architects, and other involved parties; review construction schedules and respond to contractors’ inquiries.
  • Evaluate and negotiate Contractor Change Order Proposals to secure fair pricing and address schedule impacts as per project specifications.
  • Manage project controls, including cost, schedule, and performance activities as required by the client.
  • Conduct project meetings, ensuring documentation, administration, and tracking of pertinent information.
  • Oversee project logistics, safety, and workforce utilization.
  • Ensure project closeout requirements are met to obtain necessary guarantees and warranties for final project delivery to the owner.
