Qualifications
Key ResponsibilitiesProcure, set up, and maintain compliance testing equipment, including fixtures, power supplies, data acquisition systems, cabling, antennas, and workstations. Prepare and connect Devices Under Test (DUTs) in alignment with EMC, EMI, and RF testing protocols. Execute, monitor, and document compliance tests within internal lab settings. Support and coordinate testing activities with third-party compliance laboratories. Troubleshoot test setups, equipment, and DUT issues encountered during testing. Conduct post-test teardown, inspection, and basic failure analysis. Gather, organize, and summarize test data and observations. Create clear test summaries and reports for engineering, quality, and regulatory stakeholders. Maintain well-organized test documentation and traceability to applicable standards. Collaborate effectively with design, reliability, quality, and manufacturing teams to bolster compliance efforts. Required Qualifications2–5 years of experience in an EMC / EMI / RF compliance testing lab environment. Familiarity with EMC, EMI, and RF testing equipment and methodologies. Working knowledge of compliance standards such as CISPR, FCC, IEC, ISO, or equivalent. Experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting using Microsoft Excel. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with diverse tasks. Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional engineering teams. Hands-on experience with lab instrumentation, fixtures, and testing setups. Experience with radiated and conducted emissions testing (RE/CE), immunity testing (ESD, Radiated Immunity, EFT, surge, Conducted Immunity), and Flicker/Harmonics.
