About the job

NH AIFM P/S is a licensed Alternative Investment Fund Manager under Novo Holdings A/S, managing co-investment vehicles in the Life Science sector. The team is looking for a Compliance Manager to serve as the appointed Compliance Officer. This role acts as an independent second line of defense, ensuring the company complies with Danish FAIF and EU AIFMD regulations.

The Compliance Manager reports directly to the COO and has direct access to the Board of Directors on compliance matters. The position also involves close collaboration with external third-party providers handling delegated activities.

Role overview

NH AIFM is a newly established organization. This position offers the chance to help build the compliance framework from the start. Working as part of a small, focused team, the Compliance Manager will have a central role in embedding compliance into daily operations, working closely with senior leadership and taking on significant responsibilities in a regulated setting.

Main responsibilities

  • Lead annual compliance assessments and prepare a Compliance Plan for Board approval.
  • Conduct ongoing compliance monitoring and reviews in line with AIFMD standards.
  • Track regulatory changes and update internal policies and procedures as required.
  • Prepare compliance reports for Management and the Board, and manage regulatory reporting deadlines.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and external providers on compliance matters.
  • Support functions such as AML/KYC, data protection, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee conflict of interest management, including maintaining registers and reporting.
  • Promote a strong compliance culture by providing training and guidance to stakeholders.

This position is based in Copenhagen, Capital Region of Denmark.
