Role Overview
The Compensation and Analytics Program Manager leads Intrinsic's compensation programs, including external offers, annual planning, promotions, internal transfers, and recognition initiatives. The role may also take on special projects such as M&A events. In addition, this person will help expand the analytics function, ensuring leaders and decision-makers have access to relevant data and insights. As the company grows, responsibilities will include refining the total rewards philosophy to match evolving goals within Google. The small team environment means this position will also support broader program management and operations tasks within the People function as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Compensation Programs: Oversee the annual compensation planning process, supporting a pay-for-performance approach.
- Compensation Operations: Manage compensation for geo-transfers, role changes, promotions, recognition programs, and other ad-hoc needs. Take part in job architecture discussions as the business evolves.
- Offer Negotiation Strategy: Work with Recruiting and Finance to strengthen the offer compensation strategy and help attract top talent in a sustainable way.
- People Analytics: Find opportunities for data-driven decision-making and deliver clear, accurate data. Recommend and implement improvements to current systems and tools.
- Operational Excellence: Contribute to the team's operational effectiveness. Develop automated audits and checks to ensure data integrity.
