Qualifications

A genuine passion for supporting children with autism. Demonstrated patience, compassion, and teamwork skills. Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or GED required. Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and undergo a Tuberculosis test (if required). Must pass a pre-employment background check. Physical capability to perform various movements (sitting, squatting, etc.). Able to lift and carry weights up to 50 pounds. Must obtain Registered Behavior Technician Certification post-onboarding.

Join Centria Autism as a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and play a pivotal role in transforming the lives of children with autism. In this rewarding position, you will work closely with young clients, implementing tailored behavior intervention plans under the mentorship of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Your responsibilities will include utilizing evidence-based strategies to enhance communication, social interactions, and daily living skills while effectively managing challenging behaviors. We seek individuals who are genuinely passionate about fostering the growth and potential of children with autism.

The ideal candidate will exhibit patience, empathy, and teamwork skills. Even if you lack direct experience, we offer comprehensive training to prepare you for success in this dynamic environment. Please note that this role involves physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and occasionally lifting children or objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
