Competitive Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour

Shift Patterns: 8am-3pm and 3pm-10pm, including alternate weekends

Join Our Team: Care Assistant at Belong Chester

In the role of Care Assistant, you will collaborate with fellow staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the household. Your primary goal will be to maintain high standards of care and service for residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues. You will provide a variety of personal and practical care services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit compassion, empathy, and a person-centered approach when caring for older individuals.
  • Be self-motivated, resilient, and well-organized.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to the needs of residents and the household.
  • Provide assistance, personal care, engaging activities, and companionship to residents.
  • Be attentive to residents’ needs, health, and well-being.
  • Uphold residents’ dignity and privacy at all times.
  • Collaborate with residents and their families to deliver personalized care.
  • Assist with mealtimes and safe mobility.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for each resident.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Strong communication and written skills.
  • Dedication to delivering high-quality care while promoting dignity and respect.
  • Previous experience in an elderly care setting is preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being proactive.
  • Dependable and able to thrive under pressure, with flexibility to meet the needs of the home.
