Role Overview
The Commercial Finance Controller for UK, Ireland, and Nordics will play a key part in Tony’s growth in these strategic markets. This role centers on planning, delivering insights, and driving continuous improvement across the region’s Profit & Loss (P&L). The focus: spot revenue growth opportunities, optimize contribution margins, and strengthen EBIT results.
This position acts as a trusted advisor to the local leadership team, monitoring commercial and operational changes, managing risks and opportunities, and translating complex financial data into practical recommendations that keep both business and mission on track.
The Commercial Finance Controller reports to the Head of Commercial Finance in Amsterdam and works closely with the UK leadership team based in Richmond, Greater London.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead Planning & Control Cycles: Oversee and coordinate Tony’s planning and control cycles for UK&I and Nordics. Work closely with the Homebase FBI (Finance, Business Planning & Performance, and IT) team to manage month-end and annual close, budgeting, quarterly reforecasts, and the annual three-year business plan.
