Requirements:At least 8 years of experience in the construction industry in a supervisory capacity. In-depth knowledge of all construction trades and the ability to interpret specifications. Previous experience as a foreman or journeyman is highly preferred. OSHA 30-hour training or equivalent certification is mandatory. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Procore, or similar tools. Basic understanding of Timberline or comparable cost-tracking software. Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM), LEAN construction techniques, and LEED certification processes. Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity for making quick, informed decisions in fast-paced environments.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead our field operations and ensure the successful execution of construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in supervising construction teams, implementing quality control measures, and adhering to project timelines. Strong communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple trades are essential to maintain safety and efficiency on the job site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily construction activities to guarantee projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors, laborers, and various trades to ensure exceptional workmanship.
  • Manage project timelines and make necessary adjustments to address any delays or unexpected challenges.
  • Interpret and analyze construction drawings, specifications, and contracts across all trades.
  • Ensure adherence to all building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Enforce OSHA standards and company safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Conduct frequent job site inspections and facilitate safety meetings.
  • Quickly address and resolve any safety concerns that may arise.
  • Perform regular quality control inspections to verify that workmanship meets both industry and company standards.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and implementation.
  • Identify and address construction challenges in partnership with the project team.
  • Utilize project management software such as Microsoft Project, Procore, or similar tools to monitor project progress and documentation.
  • Maintain daily logs, reports, and job site activity records using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Assist with budgeting and cost tracking using Timberline or similar software.
  • Familiarity with BIM, LEAN, and LEED practices is preferred to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
